Garry Paul Marklinger
1946 – 2025
Garry Marklinger, late of Swift Current and formerly of Estevan, passed away with family by his side on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the Regina General Hospital, Regina, SK at the age of 79 years.
Garry is survived by his two children, Wendy and Steve (Tanya Schiestel); grandchildren, Jenny Scott Young, Kohl Marklinger; siblings: Mary Jane Marklinger-Ryckman (partner Frank Young), Linda (Jim) Choquette, and Wayne (Nancy) Marklinger; brother-in-law Les Geisel; Uncle “Bud” Richard Marklinger, as well as many family and friends.
Garry was predeceased by his parents, John “Allen” and Alice Marklinger; siblings, Lloyd Marklinger, Gail Sandhoff and Carol Geisel; grandparents, John and Theresa (Schnell) Marklinger and Charles and Lena (Mehler) Fieber.
The Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
