It's time for another Made in Manitoba, and tonight we're showcasing a veteran musician, composer and singer-songwriter, Robert Pastrick.
After a more than three-decade break from creating music and being in bands, building a successful flooring business in Winnipeg during that time, he picked it all back up again in 2018. Since then, he's released eleven albums.
This evening we're focusing on his latest which just came out in August. It's called "After the Rain", and is Robert's first vocal album with the previous ten all instrumentals.... which makes sense considering in the past he's played everything from keyboard and organ to saxophone, flute and guitar.
Part of our conversation will include finding out why he chose to incorporate singing, and we'll also explore what it's been like for him to become such a prolific creator since returning to the studio. We'll also hear his encouragement to those who, perhaps, have been away from a hobby or passion for some time and why they shouldn't be afraid to go back to it, again.
Winnipeg's Robert Pastrick is our guest on Made in Manitoba, with his latest album "After the Rain".
