There have been about 18,000 games across the history of the National Football League, and thanks to "NFL Scorigami", every single final score from those games is publicly available at the tap of a finger.
The website tracks every unique score in the NFL for the purpose of logging all of the final score combinations until finally getting a "gami", a score that has never happened before in an NFL game.
A brand-new score isn't always attainable in a game built on multiples of mostly 3 and 7, but with safety's, missed extra points, and other crazy things that can happen in a game you never know what you might see on any given Sunday.
For example:
(via NFL Scorigami)
44-31
First Game: New York Yanks 44 @ 31 Green Bay Packers | October 8, 1950
Latest Game: Green Bay Packers 44 @ 31 Minnesota Vikings | October 27, 2013
49-10
First Game: Kansas City Chiefs 49 vs 10 St. Louis Rams | December 8, 2002
30-25
First Game: Minnesota Vikings 30 @ 25 Green Bay Packers | September 7, 2003
Latest Game: Seattle Seahawks 30 @ 25 Los Angeles Rams | January 5, 2025
The topic this week was only sparked because I am attending my first NFL game in Pittsburgh on Sunday, the Steelers home opener against the Seattle Seahawks.
Listen to this week's Scoop with Coop below as I talked about my long-awaited passage to Pittsburgh and explained the concept of a Scorigami to Country 104 morning show host Nick Cooper, unveiling a few long-lost scores in the process as well.
