Community pulls together to donate 38 tons for local food bank

Nearly 1,000 volunteers hit the streets and packed the warehouse last night for the annual Rotary Food Bank Drive in support of the Salvation Army Food Bank.

Thanks to their efforts, and the generosity of countless donors, the community collected more than 38 tons of food and hygiene products.

Organizers say the outpouring of support shows the power of people coming together to help neighbours in need. 

They’re thanking every volunteer, donor, and supporter for making the night such a huge success.
