Unity RCMP responded to a range of calls between Sept. 9 and 15, including reports of stolen property, mental health concerns, and a truck fire.

Police are investigating the theft of a truck and a complaint of an individual damaging residential property. Several theft complaints were also received during the week, though officers said there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Members carried out three wellbeing checks and responded to three Mental Health Act complaints, speaking with those involved.

RCMP also provided traffic control after a grain truck caught fire in Unity. No injuries were reported, and the fire department confirmed the blaze was not suspicious.

Officers also located an abandoned trailer in a rural area near Unity. It was later confirmed stolen from Czar, Alta.

Police logged five traffic complaints, along with one false alarm and a false 911 call.
