The Plenty Wildcats earned a home win against the visiting Macklin Sabres on Tuesday to kickoff Week 4 of high school football in the area.

According to the Macklin Sabres Facebook page, the rare early week start from North West Central School saw an unofficial score of 50-30 for the Wildcats. Plenty's first win of the season moved them ahead of Macklin in the standings, but thankfully the Sabres will have a chance to get back in the win column, and exact revenge with Plenty coming to town on Friday for an 8:00 PM start under the lights.

Following the well-contested six-aside matchup, the games continue on Thursday in North Battleford with the Kindersley Kobras travelling to face the John Paul II Crusaders in a nine-aside matchup. The other nine-aside Conference 4 matchup this week sees Delisle going to Meadow Lake.

After those ones, two more games on Friday night are back in the 2A six-aside division as Unity hosts Rosetown under the lights at 7:00 PM, Maple Creek also hosting a 7:00 PM game against Eatonia. Unity and Rosetown will vie for first, while the latter game sees each side going for win number one.

As you can see above, one more Friday night lights matchup is taking place in Biggar. Not only are the seniors in action, but the junior team from Kindersley will also be in action to make for a great night of football in the West Central community, and Biggar's first ever under the lights game to celebrate a special Blazers anniversary.
