A slew of crime related activity kept Biggar RCMP members busy over the past week.
Two suspect vehicles made the detachment report, first being a dark coloured large SUV accused of stealing diesel fuel from a rural property, and also 800 litres of heating fuel from a residence in Spinney Hill.
The other vehicle report involved a suspicious grey Yukon with black rims driving around the area, no further updates being given.

The above efforts joined the ones below for a total of 43 calls for service for the detachment, and another 11 warnings/tickets coming out of traffic safety efforts.
Multiple reports came in relating to suspicious vehicles in and around Biggar. The first had to do with a lifted grey Chevy truck that was making unwanted noise late at night along Main Street, identifiable by a "strip down the side" according to police. The other suspicious vehicle call had to do with an abandoned vehicle in Perdue, a Dodge Ram that the complainant stated had been there a while.
Shifting the suspicious calls from four wheels to two feet, police responded to a report of a trespasser on a rural property off Highway 14. It turned out to be a 42-year-old female who was hitchhiking, on the lookout for a bike to continue their journey according to police.
A pair of teenage girls were caught stealing from the local Pharmasave on their lunch break as the store notified the detachment. On a lighter note, other youth mischief during the week led to the detachment learning of a ding-dong-ditch game on 8 Ave. W in Biggar.
The report finished with a warning to the public regarding Trevor Payne's small engine, no repair shop, likely the product of continued fraud related calls to the detachment.
