Christopher Pelly (Caribou) Atik – Clan April 23, 1974 – December 10, 2021

Christopher Pelly, a resident of Thunder Bay, Ontario passed away suddenly on December 10, 2021 in Thunder bay, Ontario.

He was predeceased by his mother Melvina Pelly-Jarrett (nee Redsky), his father Allan Pelly, his bothers Ryan Pelly, Clifford Pelly, Ricky Pelly, his sister Jolene Pelly, his step daughter Jordina. He was also predeceased by grandparents Jim Williams and Agnes Redsky, Robert Pelly and Gladys Grace Pelly (nee Lands), his aunts and uncles Ernest Lands (Pelly), Flora ‘Sharon’ Donoit, Lorraine Redsky, Marvin Redsky and his cousins Robert Pahpasay, Monica Payash, Cheryl Assin, Melodie Assin, Robert Pelly, Gwen Pelly and Nathaneal, Lydia and Kirsten Ainspac.

He is survived by his wife Ruth Matthews, his step children Jonathan, Richard, Joanne, Antonia, Melissa and Angelina. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles George Pelly, Arnold Pelly, Belinda Wheeler (nee Pelly), Diane Kelly, Rosalene (Ron) Redsky, Tommy Taypaywaykejick, Albert Taypaywaykejick, Tommy Moore, Elizabeth Litwin, Edith Strong, Edward lands, Marie lands, Doreen Skead, and Steven Lands. His niece Hailey, nephews Jeremiah and Dakota, his cousins Edwin Bird, Larry Bird, Brian Bird, Roger Bird, Mary Pelly, Stewart Pelly, Ann Pelly, Jacqueline Favell, Jeralyne (baby Jordyne), Virginia (her children Andrew, Andrea and Zady) and Nevada Skead, as well as numerous grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and relatives too numerous to mention.

He was always on the go, he was always going to work and loved his job. He enjoyed going hiking, was funny and full of laughter. He was a caring person and loved and cared for his step children and grandchildren as his own, he will be truly missed.

A Wake Service be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 1:00 pm at David Kejick School Gymnasium, Shoal Lake 39, Ontario. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 10:00 am at David Kejick School Gymnasium with burial to follow in Shoal Lake # 39 First Nation.
