Larry Malbranck
JUNE 8, 1957 – JANUARY 4, 2022
Larry Malbranck, age 64, of Keewatin, Ontario passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Larry was born June 8, 1957.
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Larry Malbranck. Larry passed away suddenly at his home in Keewatin.
He was predeceased by his dad Al in 2006.
He is survived by his mom, Jo Anne, his daughter Brittinee, his brothers Allan and Randy, his sister Cindy, and his partner Rose.
Larry was born in Winnipeg, MB and grew up in East Kildonan, attending Neil Campbell and Miles Macdonell Collegiate. At 15 years of age, he worked after school at his fathers jewellery business, Al's Jewellers, apprenticing as an engraver and goldsmith, and eventually became a partner. Larry was known for his sense of humor, infectious laugh, his easy going nature, generosity and kindness. He had many good friends and many good times. Larry loved the lake life and enjoyed boating and snowmobiling adventures, spending many years at Brereton Lake.
He eventually moved to Kenora and started his own business, Larry's Jewellers, on Main St. He had a passion for his business and made friendships with many clients and supported the community. Larry also enjoyed the yearly "Escape" cruises. In the last few years he enjoyed these activities and travels with Rose. Larry's sudden and early passing have left a void in the hearts of many and he will be greatly missed.
Due to covid, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. If one wishes, donations may be made in Larry's memory to the charity of their choice.
