The latest COVID-19 numbers are in.
Currently, 1,496 people are in hospital with COVID-19, including 105 in intensive care.
Thirteen deaths were reported on Friday (Jan.28), bringing the total to 3,531 since the start of the pandemic.
In the past day, 3,036 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in the province. There are 41,300 known active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta.

Vaccinations
The total per cent of the population over five immunized with two doses as of Friday:
- Fort Saskatchewan: 80.3 per cent
- Sherwood Park: 85.3 per cent
- Strathcona County: 80.2 per cent
- Sturgeon County West (including Morinville): 75.7 per cent
- Sturgeon County East: 74.1 per cent
- Lamont County: 71.7 per cent
A total of 8.25-million doses of the vaccine have been administered in Alberta. 89.7 per cent of the 12+ population has received at least one dose, while 86 per cent have received two.
