Patricia Anne Ashopenace

Patricia Anne Ashopenace (Abbie)

It is with great sadness our beloved sister, mother, grandmother, Patricia, has suddenly left us. Patricia was a shy, affectionate, caring, friendly person, and had a good sense of humour. She often kept her household clean and tidy; loved playing games on the cell phone, playing music and watching her shows on T.V. She also had numerous friends, too numerous to mention.

She was predeceased by her parents Richard Sr. and Madeline Ashopenace; daughters Felicia, Alicia, Hilary Ashopenace: brothers Barney, Archie, Tony Ashopenace and sister Mary M. Ashopenace; grandson Tyrease Payash; nephew Wesley Pahpasay; niece Heather Pahpasay; granddaughters Specelle and Abbie, Wisdom J Foster.

Left to mourn, her common-law husband Ervin Pahpasay; brother Richard and sisters Sally, Rachel (Tyrone), her sons Evan and Winston (Cynthia); daughter Katrina; grandchildren Janelle (Kane), Trinity (Mike), Mercedes, Ferrari, Hilary, Wyndom, Logan, Burton, Cole, Anthony, Tishawn, and great grandchildren Champion and Kallen; nieces and nephews Alexis, Dominique, Richie, Raven, Warren, Olivia, Trevor, Tashina, Bethanie, Clifford (Christine), Violet, Rosemary, Rosalee (Rodney), Ruben, Malcolm, Latisha, Rianne (Robbie), Jamie (Keon) and numerous other relatives, too many to mention.

A wake service for Patricia will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Minnow Say Win Building, Grassy Narrows, Ontario. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 25, 2022 at 11:00 am at Minnow Say Win Building with burial to follow in Grassy Narrows First Nation.
