Phillip Williamson

Phillip Williamson was born at the old St. Joseph's Hospital to mother Maggie Louise Rosy Williamson (nee Henry) and Kay Eustace Williamson of Iskatewizaagen # 39 Nation.

Phillip was one of two boys to a family of 10 children. Phillip was so cherished by his late father, Kaye E, with one of so many loved ones, Phillip will meet and reunite. Phillip was a humble, kind man. hard worker in his early age, pulpwood cutting, fishing, trapping and later worked as a tourist guide. In his youth years, he was helpful to his grandmother Theresa Williamson and Adam Green, where he was taught and learned so much of the good qualities Phillip carried, there were also some funny stories Phil shared.

Phillip survived 2 cancers, one of which he had major gum/pallet surgery, he was strong spiritually and physically. He had faith, he had goodness, he had love, he had kindness.

Phil leaves to mourn his daughter Melva Joyce Fenyves, sister Bella Quill of Deer Lake, Ontario, sister Virginia Cook of Winnipeg, Manitoba. He will be missed by nieces and nephews Barbara Fobister (Ralph), Judy DeSilva (Tator), Roberta Kejick, Mpande Jackson, Robert Williamson (Annette), Jason Williamson (Anita), Roger Smith, Candice Neil, Marcel Williamson, Alex Williamson, Albert J. Cook, Jeremy Roulette, Tyler Everett, Alex Everett, Braeden Murdock, Nicholas Murdock, Malcolm Gerard and Stephan Flett. As well as cousins, Viv Ketchum, Pauline Prince, Karen Bluebird, John Henry and so many more relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The family would like to thank - Aaron Genaille of Treaty 3 Police for the wellness check, Iskatewizaagen #39 Chief Gerald Lewis and Kristina Mandamin and all that helped with the wake and burial.

Pallbearers will be Albert Cook, Alex Williamson, Marcel Cook, Alex Everett and Jeremy Roulette.

A wake will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 at 4:00 pm at Shoal Lake # 39 First Nation Community Centre, Shoal Lake, Ontario. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 10:00 am at Shoal Lake # 39 First Nation Community Centre. Interment will follow at Shoal Lake # 39 First Nation.
