More information has been released on a hit-and-run.
In the early morning of Feb. 26, the Morinville RCMP were called to Highway 28 about a kilometre north of the Anthony Henday. Police were informed a pedestrian had been killed in a hit-and-run collision.
The victim has since been identified as 19-year-old Angel Cardinal from Edmonton.
RCMP are continuing to investigate what happened and are asking for help from the public.
They are trying to find an unknown man who called 911 to report the incident at 5:22 a.m., and an unknown woman driving a dark-coloured vehicle that stopped north of the collision scene.
Police are also looking to speak with anyone who travelled in this area on the day of the collision, between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., or anyone that saw or knew Cardinal and could provide information about why she was in the area where she was found.
