A 16-year-old St. André Bessette student has finished his journey on Canada's Got Talent for this year.

Dayton Paradis and his dance trio the Itty Bitty Crew auditioned for season two of Canada's Gat Talent. They earned four yeses from the judges and got a standing ovation from the audience.

"It was definitely an experience of a lifetime. It's nothing like I ever thought it was going to be. It was awesome to do it with two of my best friends and it was awesome coming back and getting all the support when we were able to talk about it," said Paradis.

However, they were eliminated during the Judges Round, when 36 acts were picked to move on to the semi-finals.

"We were actually chosen as an alternate, meaning that if one of the acts got COVID or couldn't make it to the semi-finals, we would stand in their place."

While the group isn't continuing on in the competition, Paradis said they were happy to see the amount of support they were given by the community.

The Itty Bitty Crew plans to train a lot over the summer and keep their eyes open for other opportunities like Canada's Got Talent.
