Strathcona County RCMP is looking for the public’s help.
Just after 9 p.m. on Saturday (May 14), RCMP say they responded to a 911 call involving a gun north of Highway 16 on Township Road 540, which locals know as 'The End of the World' in Sherwood Park.
According to police, the victim, who was a woman, got into a verbal argument with an unknown male suspect when he told her that he had a gun. The man pointed what was believed to be a handgun at the woman upon returning to his vehicle.
Police say the vehicle the suspect was reportedly driving was a 2019 or newer black Ford-F150.
The suspect is described as wearing a black hat, sunglasses, black shoes, jeans, and a sweater with 'no mercy' written on it. A woman was also reported to be with the suspect; she is described as having light blonde hair, last seen wearing black sweatpants and white shoes.
Several officers patrolled the area but did not locate the suspect or vehicle; nobody was injured during the incident.
