Spray park expected to be turned on after May long weekend

The Kin Family Spray Park is scheduled to open after the May long weekend, weather permitting.

City officials will turn on the water when temperatures stay around 20 C or higher. 

When it is operational, the spray equipment will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

For those who have yet to visit this fun attraction, the spray park features animal-themed spray equipment surrounded by 20 acres of green space. 

Next to the park are baseball diamonds, soccer pitches, a playground and sand play area, a basketball surface, and lots of trails to explore. 

Admission is free, and there are washrooms and picnic tables located on-site.
