The farmers' market is set to return for the summer.

The event, put on by the Fort Saskatchewan and District Chamber of Commerce, will run every Thursday from June 9 until Sept. 14 for a total of 15 markets.

From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. you can shop for local goods, listen to live music and enjoy snacks from a variety of food trucks.

To celebrate the opening day on June 9 there will be free hot dogs available for the first 1000 people who attend the market.

Vendor applications are now open. Seasonal vendors will receive a discount equivalent to two free-market days. Vendor prices will vary depending on where you’d like to set up and those details can be found on the District Chamber of Commerce website.

The Fort Saskatchewan Farmers' Market will operate rain or shine. If there is extreme weather forecasted it is recommended that you call ahead to see if the market is operational for that day. The number to reach out to is 780-998-4355.

You can visit the market at the CN Station parking lot by Legacy Park.
