A body has reportedly been pulled out of the North Saskatchewan River.
Around 1:25 p.m. Wednesday (May 26) afternoon, Edmonton Police Service responded to a body seen in the river near the Beverly Footbridge at Strathcona Science Park. Police say a passerby had spotted a body floating in the water.
EPS and the EFRS are on the NSR bank near the Strathcona Science Park. A persons body has reportedly been discovered in the water. #yeg

Edmonton Fire Rescue members located and pulled the body out of the water shortly after.
An autopsy has yet to be scheduled by the Edmonton Medical Examiner’s Office.
