Creek levels are up and roads are once again soft in the Municipality of Rhineland. Residents are urged to use caution when driving on the freshly rained-on roads.
Officials report, there have been a number of calls to the municipal office today (Tuesday) regarding water in basements in Gretna and Plum Coulee.
Pumping is underway at the provincial dike in Gretna.
Officials continue to wait and see how much water is yet to flow in from the west.
Meanwhile, Flood Warnings remain in effect for the Pembina River system, including Pelican and Rock lakes, and Boyne and Red River tributaries. The Manitoba Hydrologic Forecast Centre issued the warnings Monday ahead of the moisture packed Colorado low which dumped between 25 and 100mm of rainfall on parts of the Pembina and Red River Valleys.
