New details have emerged regarding an incident that took place at the intersection of 9th Avenue northeast and Chaplin Street east yesterday afternoon.
Swift Current Municipal RCMP received a call at 3:57 p.m. of a two-vehicle collision involving a rollover.
Emergency Service crews responded to the call where a grey Chevrolet Equinox proceeded into the intersection when it was unsafe to do so.
This resulted in the vehicle colliding with a red Toyota Echo and the Equinox ending up on it's side.
The driver of the Chevy Equinox was charged under the Traffic Safety Act for proceeding from a stop before safe to do so, as well as failing to comply with their licence endorsement or restriction.
No one was injured as a result of the collision.
