Construction on new waterline to shutdown 5th Ave turnoff

The 5th Avenue turnoff, of Highway 1A will be closed today until approximately 5 p.m.
It has been closed since about 9 p.m. Friday.
The reason for the closure is to install the new water main for Sunterra and Cochrane Heights communities.
It is expected that water service will not be interrupted while the water line is being installed.
Access to downtown Cochrane will be detoured at Fourth Avenue.
Access to the businesses along the 100 block of 5th Avenue can be done from 1st Street.
