Fort Saskatchewan Rangers' alumni put on a show at the Dow Centennial Centre.

Familiar faces such as the Kirby Dach (Chicago Blackhawks), Olen Zellweger (Anaheim Ducks), and others played in front of a sold-out crowd on Wednesday night (June 15).

"Game was high-paced. I didn't think it would be that fast but a lot of competitive guys out here," said Dach. "There was good support from the crowd and a lot of fun."

Funds raised from the game will help the Rangers Athletic Club (RAC) pay for a third jersey, which honours the Traders, Fort Saskatchewan's old AJHL team.

One of the alumni teams, the Traders, wore the blue third jersey, while the second team, the Rangers, wore the signature white uniform.

The Rangers won the game 8-7.

"It's nice to be back home. It's good to take a couple of weeks off, enjoy some family time and then get back to the gym," added Dach.

Players in the game included: Kirby Dach, Colton Dach, Rhett Melnyk, Beckett Langkow, Payton McIsaac, Tyson Baillie, Ian Barteaux, Brandon Ralph, Troy Trembley, Zenith Komarniski, Dale Mahovsky, Chris Langkow, Olen Zellweger, Noah Boyko, Riley Fiddler-Schultz, Alex Thacker, Carson Cox, Keegan Kanzig, Eric Florchuk, Garrett Kindred, Owen Boucher, Cade McNelly, Ashton McNelly, Jayden Joly, Bryce Osepchuk, Aaron Conlon, Jebb Weinrich and Geoff Kilburn.

Head coaches for each teams were Matt Conlon and Levi Lypka.

Assistant coaches were: Brett Cox, Mason Hawks and Tyson Munro.

This was the first annual alumni game put on by the RAC -- fundraising totals for the game were not yet available.
