It’s shaping up to be a picture-perfect weekend ahead of Garth Brooks’ back-to-back concerts at Commonwealth Stadium.
Although the threat of rain hung around early Friday (Jun. 24), cloudy skies and gusts of wind blowing at 40-50 km/hr at times will subside around 6 p.m., and once the concert begins at 7 p.m., you can expect to see a mild summer evening at around 18 C.
Overnight, temperatures will drop to a low of 10 C.
There’s no chance of precipitation for Saturday’s concert either. According to Environment Canada, Saturday will be nothing but sunshine and a high of 22 C before dipping to a low of 12 C overnight.
For those heading down to see Garth Brooks this evening, here are the top five things you need to know before going — you may not need that rain poncho after all.
