Update: Missing teenager found

A missing 13-year-old was found in Oregon.

The teenager disappeared while going to school in Edmonton on June 24. According to a social media post from her father, camera footage showed that she did not arrive at school that morning. 

The authorities found her in the States with a 41-year-old Oregon man. The man is in custody and will be facing charges of child luring, and additional charges may follow as the investigation continues.

Edmonton Police Service has not released any further details, but the family was notified earlier this morning, and arrangements are being made to return the girl to her family.
