Mateychuk put together an incredible 2021-22 season with the Warriors, picking up 13 goals and 64 points, both in the top-three on the team, in 65 games.
He was the East Division’s nominee for WHL Defenceman of the Year while finishing tied for fifth among defencemen in points and sixth in assists.
Mateychuk was the highest drafted Warrior since Morgan Rielly went fifth overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
Mateychuk is currently taking part in Blue Jackets’ development camp and he will be on the ice at Canada’s national junior team summer development camp later this month in Calgary.
The Warriors return to the ice for training camp in late August. Season tickets are available now at the Warriors’ office and Mosaic Place Box Office.
