The East Central U15 AAA Dodgers split their weekend doubleheader against the White Butte Broncos heading into the last week of regular play.
In the opening match, the Broncos took advantage of a big third inning to score 6 runs on their way to an 11-4 win. The Dodgers held the Broncos scoreless after that, but the damage had been done.
Ryne Griffin took the win on the mound for the Broncos
In Game 2, the Dodgers flipped the tables on the Broncos late in the game for a 6-4 victory. The Broncos were leading up to that point, but singles by Cade Armstrong and Landin Frank brought in a trio of runs to put the Dodgers up and they never looked back.
The 15U Dodgers are back on the field tonight for an away game against rivals the Sask5 Giants.
