Unity tops Muenster 18U AA Red Sox in closer

The Muenster 18U AA Red Sox attempted to battle back against the Unity Cardinals last night, to no avail, as the Cards walked away with a 9-4 win.

Tai Bescher took the loss on the mound for the Red Sox allowing nine hits and striking out four in five and a third innings. 

Unity hopped off to a quick start with a trio of runs in the first. Muenster tied the game in the second on a triple by Chase Sylvestre and a subsequent single by Lynden Loessl. But Unity went to work after that scoring 6 more runs to the Red Sox one.

Muenster outhit their opposition 11-9, but simply couldn't get the bounces.
