The Humboldt Broncos Organization acknowledged a claim filed against it in Court of Queens Bench.

On August 5, the Humboldt Broncos organization released the following statement:
The Humboldt Broncos Organization is aware of the Statement of Claim that has been filed against them in the Court of Queens Bench regarding a contractual dispute.
The Humboldt Broncos Organization has retained the law firm of Robertson Stromberg, of Saskatoon, to deal with this matter. The Humboldt Broncos Organization will have no further comment on this matter while it is before the courts.
