Food Truck Wars battled it out throughout Saturday for Come Together Swift Current and Taking it to the Streets.
A total of five food trucks made an appearance at the event, located at Kinetic Park.
Dale Belair, owner and operator of Food Truck Wars, said that the event was a phenomenal success for all those involved.
“It was an excellent event, it was a great turnout,” he stated. “It was extremely hot on the weekend, but we still had a good turnout. The music with Gord Bamford, and his performers was excellent.
“We had five trucks there this weekend, including Beaver Tails. They are all reporting extremely high sales this morning through our portal. They are all very, very happy with the event and are looking forward to coming back again to Swift Current for another food truck event.
The competition was less formal than the last time Food Truck Wars was in Swift Current, with Belair adding that they are planning to bring a voting system back in the future.
Trucks in attendance this weekend were Beaver Tails, Chow Queen, 3 K’s Kitchen, Joe’s BBQ shack, and Al’s Kitchen.
