Here's when school zones will come back into effect

It's almost that time of year again. 

School zones in Fort Saskatchewan will come back into effect early next week as classes for most students in both the Elk Island Public and Catholic school divisions will begin on Tuesday (Aug. 30).  

Once classes are in, school zones are in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Like playground zones, which remain in effect all year, the speed limit in school zones is 30 km/hr.
