Fort Saskatchewan’s Husky gas station on Westpark Boulevard is set for a makeover after North Central Co-op announced it would be one of 25 Edmonton-area gas pumps they’d be taking over.
The move, which also includes a station in Sherwood Park located at 28 Strathmoor Drive, was announced by Co-op on Thursday afternoon.
Co-op CEO Dean McKim says this is yet another step in the company’s investment in local communities.
“We’re so proud to share this announcement today. As a Co-op, we’re focused on investing in our communities and bringing value to our members,” said McKim. “Adding these sites to our fuel network signals our Co-op's commitment to growing and serving our community for the long term.”
The Husky signage will remain until they are rebranded to reflect either Co-op or a Co-op independent brand, a process that is expected to take several months.
For now, consumers can continue to redeem myHusky reward points and use Husky gift cards at each store. Co-op members will also be allowed to collect points through their member system.
