Update: Some Sturgeon County residents asked to shelter in place after shooting

Police say they're looking for two suspects after a shooting in Sturgeon County this morning.

At 2:30 a.m., Morinville RCMP received a 911 call about a shooting near Lily Lake Resort with one person in serious condition.

The 30-year-old victim was taken to hospital by air ambulance with life-threatening injuries. 

"The condition of the victim at this time is unknown," Morinville RCMP said in their release.

Mounties asked residents to shelter in place as they pursued the suspects. Six hours later the shelter in place was lifted.

Police are looking for two persons of interest; both men in their 20s, one with blonde hair and the other wearing a ski mask.
