Police are looking for a man suspected in an early morning robbery at the Westpark 7-Eleven on Monday morning.

Police are asking for help identifying a robbery suspect. 

On Monday (Sept. 12) morning, Fort Saskatchewan RCMP were called to robbery at the Westpark 7-Eleven. 

At 1 a.m, the suspect entered the store armed with a tire iron and demanded all the money in the cash register. The clerk was ordered to put the money in a bag before the suspect walked out of the store with the cash. Luckily, nobody was hurt during the robbery. 

Alberta RCMP Police Dog Services and Edmonton Police Service Air1 were called to assist in locating the lone suspect but were unsuccessful. 

Police describe the suspect to be a man wearing a black coat with white lettering on the left chest, a black toque with a red band on it, green gloves, and dark pants.

Anybody with information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP detachment at 780-997-7900.
