Crandell will play for the Division 1 school in New York next season.

“I would like to thank everyone who has supported me on my journey including my family, friends, coaches, and trainers. I look forward to being a part of such an incredible program,” Crandell said.

The 17-year-old is in his second season with the Cru.

“Carmelo is a dedicated student-athlete and he has developed into a difference maker on our team. We look forward to Carmelo continuing as a leader for us and eventually for the Raiders,” stated Crusaders' head coach Evan McFeeters.
