The weather around this time of year can be unpredictable -- some years it's still in double digits, while others have significant snowfall.

For Trunk or Treat on Saturday (Oct. 29) between noon and 4 p.m., the temperature is forecasted to be between 7 to 9 C with a mix of sun and clouds.

Halloween night will be a little chillier for trick or treaters. Between 5 to 9 p.m. temperatures will be around the freezing point.

Although the Halloween weekend is looking to be quite dry, there is an unpredictable weather pattern just to the south that may lead to some rain.

"Depending on the time and track of it, it could impact [Fort Saskatchewan] by Halloween," said Danielle Desjardins, a meteorologist with Environment Canada. "However right now it looks like it'll stay well south of Edmonton."
