Four local football teams are competing for their shot at a provincial title.
The results from the quarterfinals and upcoming semifinal games are below.
Tier 1 - Salisbury Sabres 35, Notre Dame Pride 16
Up next, Salisbury will take on top-ranked Harry Ainlay at noon on Nov. 19 at Clarke Stadium. The two teams met in the city championship with Harry Ainlay winning 40-14.
Tier 1 (regional-based) - Bev Facey Falcons 28, Grande Prairie Phoenix 0
Bev Facey will play their regional-based championship against the Spruce Grove Panthers on Nov. 19, 2:30 p.m. at Emerald Hills Stadium.
Tier 3 - Sturgeon Spirits 64, Whitecourt Cats 15
After a blowout win, Sturgeon will take on the Holy Rosary Raiders in Lloydminster. The game is at 1 p.m. on Nov. 19.
Tier 4 - Ardrossan Bisons 7, Valleyview Cougars 0
Ardrossan's forfeit win over Valleyview will move them onto the north championship against the St. Paul Lions at noon on Nov. 19 at Emerald Hills.
