Jordan St. Cyr teamed up with his new home church in Tennessee to release a new Christmas video on the first day of Advent.
The Niverville, Man., native has been busy since he and his family moved to the Nashville area early this year.
He's seen incredible success on Christian radio across North America, including appearing on Billboard charts ahead of people like TobyMac and Crowder at times. He's also been busy touring with artists like Jeremy Camp, Matthew West, and We Are Messengers.
He's also coming off an incredible six wins at Canada's GMA Covenant Awards last week.
Now, not only has St. Cyr released his second-ever Christmas song, but he has a music video to go along with it.
The 'Weary Traveler' singer hadn't released any Christmas music until last year with 'Rejoice.' His new Christmas song is aptly called 'The Wait Is Over.' It's perfect timing, then, that he released a new video for it on the first day of Advent, a season of waiting and anticipation in the Christian calendar ahead of the celebration that begins on Christmas Eve with the 12 days of Christmas.
It seems like a perfect song to sing on Christmas Eve at church as the Christ Candle is lit on the Advent wreath and we symbolically celebrate the light of Christ bursting forth into the darkness of this world. (And then promptly followed with 'Joy To The World.')

St. Cyr shot the video with members of his new church in Tennessee, something he says made it all that more special.
"Getting to shoot 'The Wait Is Over' video with my Rolling Hills Community church family was such a blessing," he says in an email to fans. "I pray this Christmastime worship song encourages the local church and reminds us why we celebrate this season."
