At approximately 8 pm on November 27., Rose Valley RCMP received a report of a collision on Highway #35, approximately 6 kilometres north of Rose Valley. Initial investigation determined a pick-up truck and a farm tractor hauling a trailer collided.
The pick-up truck had three occupants. An adult female passenger was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. She has been identified as a 78-year-old from Sylvania, SK. Her family has been notified. A child passenger was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious. We do not have an update on their condition. The adult male driver was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The driver of the farm tractor was not injured.
Highway #35 was closed for initial investigation but has since re-opened. Rose Valley RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
