59-year-old wanted for stealing Fort Saskatchewan poppy boxes

Police are looking for a man who was allegedly stealing poppy boxes in Fort Saskatchewan.

Through an investigation in November, police determined that 59-year-old Perry Chernish was the culprit.

Chernish has been charged with five counts of theft under $5,000 dollars.

Mounties say they're still trying to locate Chernish and have issued an arrest warrant.

Police are asking anyone with information on Chernish's whereabouts to contact the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP detachment.
