All over Fort Saskatchewan are signs for a missing miniature labradoodle named Saulti Zazah.

Saulti's owner, Iris Melnick, says that she brought her dog to the vet for a nail trimming last Monday (Dec. 5) at around 2 p.m.

"She's new to me, I've only had her for two and a half months," Melnick said.

Melnick told MIX 107 that her dog popped out of her collar and ran through the waiting room before jumping out the front door.

After Zazah escaped the veterinary clinic, the next update Melnick got about her dog's whereabouts was less than twenty minutes later when Zazah was reportedly hit by a car.

Three hours later, Zazah was last spotted near Perry's Pizza. She hasn't been seen since.

"Personally, I don't have much hope, because of the coyote situation and the weather that we've had has been brutal in the evening. And she's potentially injured."

Despite this, Melnick has been fruitlessly trying to reunite with Zazah.

"I have ads and posters, and it's on multitudes of sites. I've reached out to a canine tracker."

Melnick asks anyone who spots Zazah to not approach her and to instead call a veterinary clinic, or by calling Melnick herself at 587-984-8313.

"Please don't stop looking."
