It appears that the cold weather will calm down in time for Christmas.
Categories

Being outside this past week has been nearly unbearable, but things are looking a lot better for Christmas.

Today (Dec. 23) is expected to be the last day in a while that will have heavy windchills in the -30 C range.

Christmas Eve is looking a lot more manageable, with a daytime high climbing to -15 C with a chance of snow in the morning to help get you into the festive spirit.

There is a good chance that snow continues into Sunday (Dec. 25). The daytime high for the big day is looking like -13 C with a mix of sun and cloud.

If you're looking to get out on Monday (Dec. 26) to take advantage of Boxing Day sales, it looks like you'll be in luck. The daytime high skyrockets to -5 C at the start of next week.

Skipping ahead to New Year's Eve, it's expected that nice weather will continue on, helping partygoers make the most of the last day of 2022. The daytime high is projected to be -10 C. The same is true for New Year's Day.
