Dow Centennial Centre changes hours for stat holidays

The Dow Centennial Centre (DCC) has made changes to its hours on statutory holidays.

Before the New Year, the DCC was closed for all stat holidays. This included days such as Easter, Family Day, and Thanksgiving. 

Starting on Jan. 2, the DCC is now open on most stat holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

However, the DCC will still be closed for some holidays. These days include:

• New Year's Day (Jan. 1)
• Canada Day (July 1)
• Truth and Reconciliation Day (Sep. 30)
• Christmas Day (Dec. 25)
• Boxing Day (Dec. 26)

On New Year's Eve, Christmas Eve, and Remembrance Day, the DCC will remain open.

This change in hours was mainly for the Dow's gym goers, giving them more days in the year to work out.
