On Tuesday, January 17, the fog advisory was lifted for Airdrie and the surrounding areas.
Earlier in the week, Airdrie had been placed under a fog advisory on Sunday evening.
"Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop," a statement from Environment and Climate Change Canada read.
