Sandra Jane Pashe
“Wicakpe hihanni wi”
Morning Star Woman
Peacefully on January 4, 2023, with family at her side, Sandra started her journey home at the age of 57 years old.
Sandra was born to Michael & Elsie Pashe in Portage la Prairie, MB on April 1, 1965. She grew up in Dakota Tipi First Nation, moved to Vancouver, BC in 2002 where she has since resided.
Sandra lived her life and made Vancouver her home with her children. She made many friends wherever she went, was outgoing, funny and kind, and made everyone laugh. Sandra loved to joke around and play jokes on people. If you were ever having a bad day she was always able to cheer you up. She had a big heart and always helped people when needed. Her smile could light up a room and she had a heart of gold.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children; Cassandra, Tyson and Ian. Grandchildren; Anthony, Antonia, Michael, Carlos, Mikayla and Brooklyn. Her sisters; Marge and Debra, brothers; Mickey, Dennis (Joceyln), Steven, David, Maurice, Karl (Jeannette), Chris, and Ashley. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will all lovingly miss her.
Sandra was predeceased by her daughter Kelly Elaine, parents Michael and Elsie Pashe, nephews; Preston, George and Joshua, nieces; Pamela, Precious, baby Elsie and brother-in-law Earl.
Sandra’s family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Vancouver General Hospital for their excellent care and compassion.
