The Town of Wilkie, Town of Kindersley, Village of Harris, and lastly R.M. of Biggar No. 347 were all included as part of some recent investment funding coming from the Federal and Provincial governments.
Supporting 25 infrastructure projects across the province, this joint funding is coming through each of the Green Infrastructure, Community, Culture and Recreation, and the Rural and Northern Communities streams of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
Some nice money towards the Wilkie pool headlined the list of local projects, and here are all of them that were announced around the West Central region:

The government release also shared the below comment on the work coming to Kindersley, a project that will provide a complete lifecycle upgrade of the refrigeration plant at the West Central Events Centre in town.
"In the Town of Kindersley, the West Central Event Centre will benefit from a complete lifecycle upgrade of its refrigeration plant. The upgrade will increase energy efficiency and create a greener and self-sustaining facility. Other measures to reduce energy consumption include replacing leaky exterior doors and converting to LED lighting throughout the facility."
Also according to yesterday's release, Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, Infrastructure and Communities, and Saskatchewan's Government Relations Minister Don McMorris, together announced more than $19.7 million in joint funding for 25 infrastructure projects across the province.
