Everyone's favorite season is just around the corner. No, it's not summer, it's tax season.

The Swift Current branch library will be offering a number of tax-related sessions to help prepare locals for the daunting task as Branch Manager, Conner Kurtz details.

"On February 22nd, we have a benefits and credits webcast with the CRA outreach team and that is a very valuable one that we are hoping people will attend."

Kurtz adds this free hour-long session will include helpful information including which claims are available and may be useful as well as additional information people may not be aware of.

Heading into March three additional sessions will be held as Kurtz explains.

"So, on March 15th we have our 65+ Senior's presentation. On March 22nd we do have an Income Tax Basics presentation and on the 29th a Digital Services presentation."

Each of these sessions will last about an hour and are free to registrants. Kurtz adds that this is important to the library as they want to ensure everyone has equal/equitable access to all the programs they have to offer.
