According to GasBuddy.com, here are the cheapest places to get gas in the area:

Fort Saskatchewan:

• Fas Gas, Shell, Safeway, Co-op, and 7-Eleven: $1.25 per litre.
• No Frills: $1.26 per litre.
• Esso and Husky: $1.28 per litre.

Sherwood Park:

• Costco: $1.24 per litre.
• Domo, Petro-Canada, and Shell: $1.28 per litre.
• Fas Gas, Esso, Mobil, and Circle K: $1.29 per litre.

All prices mentioned above sit below the provincial average of $1.31 per litre. During this time last year, gas was over thirty cents more per litre with a provincial average of $1.68 per litre in March 2022. 

When it comes to Canada as a whole, the national average gas right now is $1.45 per litre. 

The most affordable province to get gas is Alberta, while the priciest is British Columbia, which has an average of $1.76 per litre.
