Strathcona County RCMP is asking for the public's help in finding a suspect in a Sherwood Park hit-and-run.

Police say that on March 13, just before 10 a.m., they received a report of a collision on the eastbound lanes of the Sherwood Park Freeway and 34 Street.

The crash involved an undisclosed vehicle, a two-axle flat-deck truck, and a third unknown vehicle. The driver of one of the vehicles was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

RCMP say that the third unknown vehicle is believed to be a blue van which fled the scene of the collision. Police are looking to identify the driver of that vehicle.

They are asking anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage of the area during that time to contact the Strathcona County RCMP detachment at 780-467-7741.
