The Fleur Fashion Show is happening down at Rowan Clothing this Saturday.

The sold-out event will feature flowers, fashion, and local celebrity Megan Nash as the master of ceremonies.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Moose Jaw Transition House.

Jenn Angus, Executive Director of the Transition House, said the proceeds will allow workers to improve the quality of housing for the women and children that come to them.

"One of our biggest priorities is making sure that the shelter feels like a home for the women and children that are staying here," Angus commented.

Angus mentioned that this includes updating their shelters regularly, from painting to making sure that the bedding is comfortable.

Businesses taking part in the show include Rowan Clothing Co., Cranberry Collective Boutique, Untamed Blooms + Botanicals, Bella Chic, Shades of Jay, and Clothes Encounter.

Local volunteers will be modeling a variety of clothing styles, from casual to formal.

Heathir Coakwell, owner of Rowan Clothing, says the event is all about going local.

"It started from the community base, and it's sticking with the community," Coakwell remarked. "Everyone is local, and we're just coming together!"

Coakwell thought it would be great to work with other businesses, provide a fun event for the community, and help those in need.

Doors open at 6:30 pm on March 25. If you would like to be put on a waitlist, contact the above businesses to inquire.
