Truck collides with Sturgeon Community Hospital

People at the Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert got quite a scare on Sunday (Mar. 26) night. 

At about 8 p.m. a black truck reportedly smashed through the hospital's main entrance. 

The truck took out a cement pillar before tearing apart the doors to the building. 

According to a witness, the driver of the truck exited the vehicle after the collision and went to the emergency room to receive care. 

The vehicle was removed from the building about an hour later. 

Police have not revealed any information on the incident.
